The Katimavik Suites is owned and operated by the St. John Family of Arviat, Nunavut. We offer our services in two locations: Rankin Inlet and Arviat. We bring our 30+ years of business experience in the arctic, traditional knowledge, and experiences to the world of Northern hospitality. We strive to provide a comfortable, friendly atmosphere and the best service possible in a non-smoking environment. Katimavik Suites

We opened in July 2006 with 8 Suites, including a 1000 square foot conference center. The Katimavik Suites in Arviat is conveniently located on the road to the airport close to the Community Complex, Pana Government Building, Kiluk Sewing Center, and the Arviat Housing Association.

Katimavik Beach-House

Our beach house is located on the shores of Hudson Bay with five luxury suites and a common kitchen and living room.

In addition to Katimavik Suites, the St. John family’s other hospitality businesses include Henik Lake Adventures and Henik Lake Camp and Outposts.
